Winter Parking at SSCV Clubhouse (November-April): Driveway parking spots are for active loading and unloading only. Please, no parking at clubhouse during winter.

Winter Parking Instructions: For employees that work 30+ hours per week can receive a letter to bring to the Town of Vail to access the Ford Park Lot or Soccer Field Lot.

Instructions:

-Contact Scott, HR and Payroll Admin for letter of employment - email HRPayroll@skiclubvail.org

-Starting 10/30 to the Town of Vail Municipal Building (75 S Frontage Rd) from 8am-4:45pm

-Bring proof of employment letter, driver's license and payment ($425)

Recommendations for staff working less than 30 hours per week:

Free Outlying Parking - Daily 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

All areas listed below are serviced by the existing Town of Vail transportation system.

Bus frequency varies from 15 minutes during peak times to 1 hour during non-peak times.

Red Sandstone Park, 725 N. Frontage Road, 15 spaces. Available 7 days a week
North Frontage Road in West Vail, across from West Vail Mall, 50 spaces. Available 7 days a week.
North Frontage Road in West Vail, west of west Vail roundabout, 100 spaces.
Donovan Park, 1600 S. Frontage Road, 90 spaces. Available when pavilion is not in use (see signage at entrance for availability or visit www.vaileventparking.com). This parking area is serviced by the Matterhorn bus stop, which is located west of the park at the intersection of Matterhorn Circle and West Gore Creek Drive.

Additional trailhead parking available daily at: Gore Creek Trailhead, East Vail Interchange Trailhead, Pitkin Creek Trailhead, Booth Falls Trailhead, North Trail Spraddle Creek Trailhead, North Trail Red Sandstone Creek Trailhead, North Trail Buffehr Creek Trailhead and North Trail Davos Trailhead. Parking availability at trailhead is limited and some spaces are restricted to three-hour trailhead use.

Please be aware of the following pick-up and drop-off procedures:

All vehicles must enter from the west and exit to the east. It is recommended that vehicles approach from the west side of Vail Valley Drive (rather than coming in from the golf course) because turning left into the driveway may be a challenge during busy periods.
The driveway will split into three lanes. The left and right lanes are for loading and unloading. The middle lane is for thru traffic only. Under no circumstances is parking in the middle lane allowed. Please also note, the right lane will pass under a clubhouse overhang — no high clearance vehicles!
Pull all the way up to the furthest available parking spot. Do not hang back and wait. If a vacancy ahead opens up, keep moving forward. This is critical to getting cars off Vail Valley Drive.
Do not leave your vehicle unattended. Make a plan to meet your athlete(s) on the front side of the building. Coaches have also been instructed to usher athletes to the front of the clubhouse. Keep your vehicle running.
Load and unload your athletes quickly. If you would like to visit the clubhouse or speak with a coach, please park in the Vail Village parking structure and ride the in-town shuttle over to Golden Peak.
Do not show up early. You will receive further communication from your program manager about pick-up and drop-off times. These times are intentionally staggered. Arriving early and waiting in the driveway will cause congestion.
Have a conversation with your athlete(s). Make sure he or she knows where and when to meet.
