SSCV has an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Guardian that is available to all SSCV employees and their dependents regardless of if they participate in our health insurance plans. Guardian provides you and your family members with 3 face-to-face counseling sessions per person, per problem, per year, as well as unlimited telephonic resources for struggles you may be experiencing involving home life issues, work, eldercare, substance abuse, or legal concerns. The counselors and their services are confidential, so your information is not shared with your employer.
Guardian’s EAP is offered through a vendor called ComPsych. Compsych has improved online resources and a large network of counselors. We believe your access to counselors will be improved with the ComPsych EAP with Guardian.
